    1. At one point, I swear Josh called you Rob effin' Nichols. Which sounded pretty rad.

    2. I heard that too! My middle initial is "F", so when I comment code for work projects I mark them "RFN". People seriously thought I was just being goofy and saying "Rob Effin Nichols!"

    3. I forgot to mention that they had a chain of arcades here in Portland that charged an admission, but the games all took nickels. They company was called Wunderland, and the arcades that took nickels were called the Nickel Palace.

So when I hear your name, I'm automatically thinking video games right off the bat. So Rob, do you live in the F. Nichols Palace?

  2. You want medieval metal prior to '90? Spinal Tap's Stonehenge: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qAXzzHM8zLw

Or the track I'm guessing inspired it, Led Zepplin's Immigrant Song:

  3. It's funny that you mentioned 'dethroning me' as the Most Requestor. I love suggesting tracks because it means I get to share something awesome that other people may not have known. That seems to be my m.o. with just about everything.

However, I took great pleasure in the fact that the top 3 Requestor positions are so close. Maybe it's my lifelong fear of putting people off, but it's comforting to know I'm not an outlier in my addiction. So dethrone me already!

  4. I’ve been wondering since the show ended: did anybody need thrown me as King Recommender? I hope so, because I really tapered off on recommendations about this time.
