  1. Sweet jams. I played Shadowgate quite a bit growing up. It was a tough game for a couple of five year olds, but the soundtrack was awesome.

  2. Big ups for playing the Human Race song!! This episode dropped the day before my birthday, so this is basically the coolest thing ever. Hope that emergency meeting wasn't too hectic! Keep up the good work Josh & Emily!

    1. Oh hooray! Happy birthday, T-Steak!

And actually, the emergency meeting never got very far. We just kept briefing ourselves on what it was supposed to be about, over and over, Project S-11 style.

  4. Herzog Zwei is the first action RTS game. I used to play it at my friends house in like 1993, dunno how he got a copy and we had NO IDEA how to play but we loved it. There is a modern successor by fans called AirMech, it's great.

    1. Herzog Zwei is amazing. Westwood Studios cited it as inspiration for Dune: Battle for Arrakis, as well as Command and Conquer. My friend Chris owned the game and we spent many a Saturday building up our bases and vehicles, only to send them out in long convoys of military destruction.

Technosoft developed the game, which is why the music is similar to the awesome Thunder Force series. Guys, it's my favorite OST of all time. Every track on it is the best track ever. EVER.
